If we are already doing cardio, we can continue with it and do it more intensely. The idea is to crisscross up and down the intensity levels. We don't want a straight line strength level. This is called "steady-state" cardio. If we are jogging we should take up running instead to increase our stamina. This works great even if we run hard for 10 seconds and walk the next 50 seconds. We should repeat this succession for about 15-20 minutes. We can do this basically with any cardio exercise. The reasoning as to why this is more effective for fat loss is because the high intensity intervals put us in a deep oxygen deficit.

Any form of physical activity is better than nothing at all. Once we start to build up our fitness routine, we'll be amazed at how quickly we feel the benefits of a healthier body. Most gyms recommend their clients to do abdominal crunches. This is one of the most effective ways in which we can reduce belly fat quickly and effectively. These exercises not only reduce our waist size but firm up the muscles around it and if done regularly give a permanent result.

The idea behind doing mini-workouts (2-5 minutes) is much more suited to speeding up our metabolism than 1 long workout. For this to work, we need to do multiple mini-workouts each day at least for 20 minutes. Even if we don't have time working out during the commercials or even while watching the TV show could be helpful. We can do jumping jacks, hula hoop; jump on a mini-trampoline, or jump rope. They're all helpful for weight loss and belly fat reducing.

We need to reduce our meal size also and especially avoid all kinds of junk food. We can improve on by using smaller plates or bowls. This will literally trick our eye into thinking that we are having more food. Another way to get the right portions is to use our plate as a guide. Fill half of the plate with vegetables, one-quarter for whole grains, and one-quarter for protein. This makes eating healthier and much easier to getting rid of belly fat. It may be difficult at first, but overtime our body will adapt to the smaller portions, and we will also feel better. Once we include all these in our daily routine we will actually fell lighter and feel much better. When we start fitting into smaller clothes and measure of reducing waistline our confidence and determination will surely increase.
