If you thought that it is not possible to carry on your fast weight loss mission during work, you are mistaken. In addition to what you do outside your workplace to achieve weight loss, you can also get rid of your unwanted fat during work. And when you really indulge in some weight loss efforts during work, it gifts you a little more time to relax outside your office hours as you have already done a bit of your weight loss job at your workplace. We mention here some useful tips that will help you lose weight at a super fast pace during work.

To begin with, avoid the elevator and use the stairs as often as you can. If you need to cover 40 flights to reach your office, walk four to five flights, and then use the elevator. It is quite likely that you will be gradually able to work your way up to 20 flights in a matter of weeks. Drink lots of water at the office. You will burn calories and lose weight every time you walk to the water cooler to fill up your cup or bottle. It's better to have 2 liters or half-gallon of water daily. But you have to spread it out suitably.

Kick the butt but take regular smoke breaks. This is for the simple reason that these breaks will allow you to take a half-mile walk every hour or two all through the day. Away from your desk, you will get the feel of the fresh air outside, and lose weight at the same time. You can also lose fat also by changing your seating arrangement. It doesn't help if you remain confined to your desk most of your working hours. Choose a desk that offers alternate standing and sitting facilities - it will involve some exercise and weight loss. You can even use an exercise ball in place of your desk chair; this will help you lose some fat during work.

Walk to lunch as often as possible. If you walk a mile to a good restaurant for lunch, you will soon feel the effects. Have a nice breakfast to kick-start your metabolism and set the fat burning process in motion. If possible, have some workout at lunch. If your office does not have a fitness center, look for a gym nearby and join it if you find one. Switch to more negative calorie foods, i.e., those that need more calories to digest than the food actually contains. When you have these foods, and your body completes processing them, they create a net calorie deficit. In this way, you are able to burn calories just by eating these foods. If you can put on a little bit of muscle, it will help you burn more calories even when you are working in your office. Each pound of muscle is capable of burning nearly 50 calories more per day. Try to add some elements of fun to make your work hours more enjoyable. This will reduce your stress and create more movement and laughter for you and your office colleagues. Importantly, it will also increase the amount of calories you burn during work.

So, with the help of some innovative ideas, you can continue to achieve weight loss at a super fast pace even at your workplace. This will also give you some more time to relax outside your office hours as you have continued your efforts to lose weight even during work.
