Too much intake of sodium causes water retention, leading to an increase in water weight. A diet with low sodium content can prevent this water retention.
So, foods that are fresh and natural, rich in fiber, low in fat and calories, and low in sodium can be considered as good weight loss foods. Several weight loss foods may also contain complex carbohydrates, high quality protein, and sufficient quantity of water as well. To fast lose weight, a person should eat fruits, vegetables, wholegrain foods such as oatmeal, baked potato, fresh fish etc. And while these foods should be taken in order to lose weight, it's important to avoid certain types of foods as well. Anyone really interested in losing weight must keep avoid high-calorie food items that are rich in fat and sugar. So, a little sacrifice on your part will go a long way in helping you lose weight at a fast pace.
