Foods with high water content are often low in calories also. Natural and fresh food items are also often low in calorie as well as sodium. Excessive sodium intake causes water retention, which increases your water weight. A diet with low sodium content can prevent water retention and help reduce your weight fast.

So, foods that are fresh and natural, rich in fiber, low in fat, calories and sodium can be called good weight loss foods. Many such foods may also contain complex carbohydrates, high quality protein, and large quantity of water. For achieving weight loss, a person should eat fruits, vegetables, wholegrain foods such as oatmeal, baked potato, fresh fish etc. At the same time, he/she should also avoid certain types of foods, such as high-calorie food items that are rich in fat and sugar.

So, if you are ready to make a little sacrifice and eat only appropriate foods in moderate quantities, you will be able to lose weight fast. But all your efforts will go in vain if you lack sincerity and dedication to pursue your goal.
