Fast Weight Loss During Work

There is no reason to think that it is not possible to carry on your fast weight loss mission during work. You can fast lose weight even during work by following some simple but highly effective tips. And when you really follow these tips and try to achieve weight loss during work, you get some more time outside your office hours to relax which you would otherwise have spent in trying to reach the same goal. Here are some of such useful tips that can help you lose weight at a fast pace during work.

To start with, avoid the elevator and use the stairs as often as possible. If you need to cover 40 flights to get to your office, walk four to five flights, and then only use the elevator. Continuing in this fashion, you will gradually be able to work your way up to 20 flights in a matter of weeks. This will help you burn calories. Drink a lot of water at your workplace. You will burn fat and achieve some weight loss each time you walk to the water cooler to fill up your cup or bottle. It's better if you drink 2 liters or half-gallon of water daily. But you must spread it out in a suitable manner.

Give up smoking but take regular smoke breaks. The reason is simple: these breaks will give you the opportunity to take a half-mile walk every hour or two all through the day. Away from your desk, you will then get the taste of the fresh air outside, and lose weight at the same time. You can also get rid of fat by altering your seating arrangement. You don't help your cause if you remain confined to your desk most of your working hours. It is wise to choose a desk that offers alternate standing and sitting facilities - it will involve some exercise and cause weight loss. You can also use an exercise ball in place of your desk chair; this will help you lose weight during work.

Walk to lunch as often as you can. If you walk a kilometer to a good restaurant for lunch, you will soon feel the effects. Eat a nice breakfast to kick-start your metabolism and set the fat burning process in motion. If possible, try to have some workout at lunch. If your workplace does not have a fitness center, try to find a gym nearby and join it if there is one.

Eat more negative calorie foods, i.e., those that need more calories to digest than the food actually contains. These foods can create a net calorie deficit. In this way, you are able to burn calories just by eating these foods. If you succeed in putting on a little bit of muscle, it will help you burn more fat even when you are working in your office. Each pound of muscle can burn about 50 calories more per day. Try to add some elements of fun so that your work hours become more enjoyable. This will reduce your stress and create more opportunities for movement and laughter for you and your office colleagues. What is important is that it will also increase the amount of calories you burn during work.

So, with the help of some such useful tips, you can continue to achieve weight loss at a fast pace even during work. This will also give you some more time to relax outside your office hours as you have completed part of your weight loss efforts at your workplace.
